I’m trying to cut a Harley logo for my dad. It keeps popping up like this. I have no idea why. It actually cuts the lines not the logo.

I have had similar problems with files that to me, aren’t too complex. The problem seems to be related to the transfer to the tablet using a USB cable. Like you I have no idea why, but I have overcome the problem with a work around by changing the file extension from (ngc) to (txt) then copying the file to the tablet then changing the extension back to (ngc). I don’t know why the problem, the ngc file is after all just a text file.

Is there a specific set of steps that always results in those lines showing up? I’m trying to bullet proof some parts of the tablet against slightly malformed but mostly OK gcode.

If I bring in a jpeg it never happens. If I bring in a png it happened once. That was one that I did when I was first getting started. It hasn’t happened in a lo g time.

It was definitely from the transfer to the tablet. I use a jump drive.
