Knife Blanks

Post by Dave » Mon Jan 28, 2019 1:29 am

Apparently plasma is a good choice for knife blanks since the heat affected zone gets ground off and the blades are heat treated during finishing.

This was 1/8” 80crv2. I gave the customer a discount for leaving the slag on since it was less work for me and no difference for him. Another customer took the skeleton to mount on a piece of wood and hang on their wall.

I can't take much credit on this one. Customer supplied the .svg and the steel, pretty much all I did was line it up on the table and press play.
