Im also cutting some fire pits out of 3/16. What settings are you running for 3/16 steel? im going through consumables really fast and looking to see what others are running.

I’m using 10 gauge, but generally if I find myself burning through consumables on thicker stuff, backing off the ignite/plunge/cut height tends to help. On 1/2” the steel was spraying back up and grabbing the tip while piercing.
