Just bought our table and I'm in the process of building my water pan. I was just curious about what fluid everyone is using in their water pan, or does anyone have a formula for making their own that works well. Any input would be much appreciated!

I have always used 3 lbs of Borax , stired up in a 5 gallon bucket really good.and let set over night..and pour into my table water..No Mold,or rust after I did this. I used this in my last Table also.works great...

Borax works well alot of people use it but doesnt seam to last very long. Physan 20 + Sodium Nitrite (NOT NITRATE) works really well and lasts quite a while longer

I dont have an exact recipe but I just put in 2 full red solo cups of sodium nitrite and then just a cap full of physan in 8 spots around the table and it seams to work really well, my tank is about 140 gallons and lasts a good 4 months
