I am in the process of building water pan for my 4'x 8' table. The pan is 60" wide, 108" long and 6" deep. I used 11 gauge and had the long sides bent so i dont have to put any supports in, it will rest on the 4 main legs of the table and be the same height as the angle iron on the table the way it comes. I plan on using another tank below that i can pressurize to raise/lower/drain the water into. Ill post pics when its done, hope this helps and im open to ideas!

yes..that makes since..so 6 inches sides on water pan instead of 5.5 inches ? I made my last pan on my old 4x8 table out of 14 gauge..but it was thin.and warped some.So I also was thinking of using 12 gauge metal this time..but what size sheets are you using to make water table out of.? Im thinking I will have to use 2 pieces.and lay them cross ways to be enough to go from side to side.and weld them both together.

Yes, 6" sides. I used a 120"x 72" sheet, bent the 6" sides the long way and will just weld the 60"x 6" caps on the ends.

Ok Got water table welded together ,and was very simple to install..just take out your two halves of the Slat holders..set table in on legs.and put slat holder back into water pan..Done.... I have the 4x8 table..so I used 12 gauge , 6x10 sheet.I had my sides bent at 61 inches.and welded in the ends..it was 109 inches long. I sprayed in Bed liner into pan.It took only 3 spray cans.went very fast. let dry for 24 hours..I also welded in a 1 1/4 inch couple in the bottom of pan and added a Water valve for a drain. I used 3 lbs box of Borax mixed into a 5 gallon bucket, and then poured into pan to stop rust in water pan.. I had this in my old 4x8 table.. for 8 months..and metal was not rusted at all..had some slag floating, but water was clear..Going to make home made Green Cut soon to try also.. Thanks for all your help..Ill try to add a couple of pics of water table.. I also just painted the outside of pan with Black paint. Thanks..
