Finally sat down and took the time to figure out sheetcam. Very helpful youtube video by PREMIER PLASMA called "sheetcam setup and making parts, nesting, tabs, cut path, adding tools". Just follow along with the video and it will work with the gofab software no problem, just dont use the (add pierces, add offsets, optimize cut order, reverse offset side) in the cut styles menu on the tablet, sheetcam does all of this. Super handy to be able to move pierce points around, and adding tabs to keep parts from falling out.

For the post processor use generic plasma with optional scriber.

Also for some reason sheetcam defaults cut direction the wrong way (good side of plasma is always the right) in the operations menu check the reverse cut direction box this will correct it. (see attached pic)

I HAVE BEEN USING IT EVER SINCE I GOT THE TABLE.
I DO PREFER THE PERPENDICULAR OPTION IN THE LEAD IN AND LEAD OUT .1
I'M STILL USING THE OLD VERSION OF THE TABLET AND TABLE SOFTWARE WITHOUT ANY ISSUE.

On the perpendicular leads do you get a little bump that doesnt cut all the way since its entering and leaving from the same spot? I am also on the old version of the table/tablet software, it aint broke so im sticking with it lol

Do you use the older or newer software version of GoFab? My table is about ready to pick it up and just trying to figure it out which way to go. Seems like the newer version is still very buggy from reading the posts on this forum.

Is there a special version of sheet cam you’re using? Have you tried it on the news 3.18 yet? I had problems with the old version updated a couple times it just wouldn’t work. Then I install the new version it’s working well but the peers points are always in a bad spot.

No special version, I am on the old software. And you should be able to move the pierce points to wherever you want them in sheetcam?
