Re: Open points in Inkscape
Here are my current trace bitmap settings. I adjust brightness cutoff depending on what I'm tracing, but usually keep it around 0.5 for tracing black and white silhouette images. Sometimes if the image coming in is low resolution or very grainy, there's nothing that can be done but to manually touch...

After using the trace bitmap tool, zoom in as far as you can while still fitting the part you want cut out on your screen, t...

Re: GoFabCNC Tablet App - Need Tutorial
I made this video a little bit ago:

Re: Any help on locating a starting point.
Touch the torch and gear button on the top left to open the styles panel. On the view tab, enable show rapid movements. That will show lines for the torch moving to pierce points.

Re: Any help on locating a starting point.
When you touch “set program start” from the movement controls, the table remembers wherever the torch is as the crosshairs on the tablet. “Home” is the top right corner of the table. There should be a purple dot on the tablet where it thinks the torch is, and you can jog the torch around and watch t...

Pair of lifting beams
I made a pair of lifting beams out of 6”x10.5# channel and 1/2” plate for the crane hole and spacers. Used the GoFab to cut square holes in the channels. I made one cut file to cut the holes out of the channels and another to cut the crane hole and spacers out of 8”x1/2” flat bar, then bolted it all...
