Re: G-Code Files
I got the Go Fab App to disregard the spaces, so it can successfully read the Scan2Cad files. However, the bigger issues I’m seeing with those 2 files are the shear quantity of commands (like Dave mentioned) and the physical dimensions. These files aren’t specifying whether the values are in Millime...

Re: Rounded slots from sheetcam squared off in GoFabCNC App
Excellent suggestion Juan! Thanks for posting the link. The newest version of the Tablet and Table software has several new features and improvements including displaying Arcs/Circles correctly. Please note, the previous version still cuts Arcs and Circles correctly, they just don’t show as Arcs and...

Re: Everlast 60S - Just Blowing Air and Relaying in/off
You can get an In-Line Fuse Holder from Autozone or a Panel Mount Fuse Holder from Amazon (Sam has the link). The Fuse Holder needs to either match the Fuse rating of 30 amps at 250v, or be higher. The Fuse Holder on the Everlast is 10 amps at 250v. I’m not sure why the Fuse Holder is rated signific...

Hey Greg, Usually, if a Torch blows air and doesn’t fire the 2 culprits are a bad Fuse/Fuse Holder, or the Torch is being squeezed too tight in the Torch Clamp. To make sure the Torch is not being squeezed to tight, make sure the slit in the PVC piece that wraps around the Torch is pointed to the Le...

Awesome video Greg!
InkScape has a tendency to completely reverse the ideal cutting order. The upcoming software Update will automatically reorder the cuts so insides are always done before outsides.

Re: Water Pans?
I bet powder coating would do a great job protecting the Water Pan. Regular paint will work too. The Plasma cutting process creates a fair amount of dust that gets absorbed by the water so you’ll probably still want some sort of additive in the water to prevent rusting. The water will be rusty brown...

Re: Water Pans?
Hey Dennis, We’ve never made a Water Pan for a 5’x10’ Table like yours, but you could make one similar to the way we do pans on the 4’x8’. Since it rests on the crossmembers of the legs, it doesn’t need to be too terribly strong. We use 14 Guage steel for the pan and it works great. There’s a produc...
