Re: Submerged cuts?
Cut last night with the water 1/8" over my plate and it cuts amazing!! Top side is perfect crisp lines and almost no dross on the backside! Used to have to rip dross off with 36 grit wheel now I just buzz it with a 120 grit and its minty!

Re: Submerged cuts?
I have mine right up to the backside of the plate but I'm also curious about completely submerging it. The edges of my water pan would allow me to cut 11 ga about 3/4" under water but don't know how that will go lol

Re: 80s consumables
They work really good for thin stuff but HAVE to cut at less than 30amp. I can do this with the everlast machine, it goes down to 20amp, but Ive heard rumors that the gofab 80 cutter only goes down to 30 amp even though the digitial readout reads less.

Make sure you are using Inkscape version .91. For some reason the transfer from the newest .92 version to the tablet is corrupt.

Yes, 6" sides. I used a 120"x 72" sheet, bent the 6" sides the long way and will just weld the 60"x 6" caps on the ends.
